7-Day London Property Staging Transformation
/The Brief
The Room Boutique (TRB) was recently commissioned by Overseas Investors to refurbish and stage a London apartment which has been tenanted for some time. The owners requested for this property to be refurbished and staged within 1 week to be ready to market for sale. Add to the mix a second lockdown being announced, the short project timeline left no room for any delays and our team worked fastidiously to bring about a transformation.
Home Staging & Refurbishment Recommendations
Further to our initial TRB consultation and survey, we provided the owners with a detailed Home Staging report on each area of the property and our recommendation for improvements with estimate costings. The owners felt comfortable with our suggestions and that they were in safe hands to prioritise their project and meet the urgent deadline. Upon our TRB proposal being accepted, time was of the essence and we quickly enlisted our trade contacts for various refurbishments. As a priority, the property required a fresh coat of paint throughout in neutral tones to brighten the space. Property Staging
The Room Boutique proactively created mood boards, designed interior room layouts and sourced suitable furniture pieces to stage the apartment. Property Staging transforms a space and enhances appeal by offering viewers the opportunity to visualise the property as an actual furnished home and living space. A selection of our stylish accessories provided for elegant finishing touches. Window frames featured new curtain poles installed in the living room and bedroom with warm, neutral curtains to complete the look. A dedicated desk area was added to easily facilitate a work from home environment and a personal favourite - a cosy fireplace in the lounge for added ambience. The outdoor patio offered a private and versatile setting with an opportunity to create an extended multi-functional lifestyle space with a picturesque view onto the garden, enhancing well-being.
